Frye, a well-to-do shoemaker from England, and family-run until 1945, Frye products have a long and illustrious history. Frye boots were worn by soldiers on both sides of America's Civil War, soldiers in the Spanish-American war, and by Teddy Roosevelt and his Rough Riders. When home-steading drew adventurous New England families to the West during the mid and late 1800's many of the pioneers wore Frye Boots for the long journey. Today Frye remains true to its roots with its line of heritage boots, but continues to innovate as it introduces chic new handbags, pumps, and sandals to its collection.

FRYE Campus 14L Men Boot Review

I purchasd my first version of this boot in the late 1960's. It lasted forever. This version has a bit higher heel than I remember, but it is just as comfortable. The leather lining makes for an easy fit. For me there was no break in, when I first slipped it on it is like I'd worn the boots all my life.

FRYE James Inside Zip Men Boot Review

Wow! These are really nice. They are very cool looking with jeans. Great for those casual-cool Friday and Saturday nights out. I normally wear an 11.5 but I ordered a 12 and they fit perfect. I wish they were American made but they're still awesome.

FRYE Harness 8R Men Boot Review

If you are looking at these boots, you probably did what I was doing....drooling! I bought the chocolate brown ones about two months ago after a lot of research and reading everything I could from current owners. Everything you read about these boots are right on the money. I do suggest getting your normal size....I just got lucky because my size is the smallest that they carried. I love these boots so much that on my amazon wish list is a pair of black ones. Hopefully my wife is paying attention!

FRYE Men's James Lace Up Boot Overview

The lightly distressed leather upper on this boot from Frye gives it a natural, broken-in-look that's amazingly hip and stylish. A fully laced vamp, a breathable, leather-lined footbed, and stacked wooden heel combine together for a look that is versatile, sophisticated, and charming.

FRYE Men's James Lace Up Boot Review

These boots beat AE's Bayfields...better leather (doesn't feel like plastic) all the way around...

These boots DO NOT run small...I usually wear a 12 shoe...but ordered 11 1/2's for boots...these fit perfect.

Leather sole is a tad slippery at first...but that will off quickly.

My first Frye's...definitley not my last.
