          I was a bit concerned before I got these because this is supposedly a hiker boot and my previous experience with hiker boots has been bad (too stiff for my taste). And I am generally a sneaker guy. But these boots really blew me away. They are extremely comfortable (the black/brown leather more than the wheat), true to size, and you can wear them everyday, for work or fun. They are water-resistant, and look rigid enough. Did I mention "extremely comfortable"?! Five starts for Timberland here!

One is a restaurant manager and is on his feet long hours..he said they are very comfortable and have helped his knees and back to not feel so tired after a long day at work.           These boots came in about 2 and a half weeks when they were supposed to come in 3-5 business days. Only other problem is that it came with no receipt. I love these boots, but when they were delivered there were some minor scuffs on them, like they were wore a few times. Hopefully next time when I order them they are perfect.

          Love them so far. I have only had them a few days, but very comfortable. I wear an 11 and ordered an 11. They fit good to just be ordered. I might would try on a 10.5 in a store before I left with an 11, but I think it would be too small so I would order what you usually wear. Other than that they are great. I read one review that talked about the sole being separated from the insole, but I think that is just the way these shoes are made. I love them so far and will let you know if something goes wrong..

          I purchased these boots about 3 weeks ago. I was looking for slip-on boots that would look good with jeans, but also look good with work slacks in a business casual office environment. I went with these boots because I liked the look (plus they had size 14 available), and have had great experiences with Timberland in the past. I received these boots promptly (Amazon Prime is incredible as usual), and in excellent shape. These boots did not disappoint. I found that they needed little to no break-in time, and were very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. I felt the sizing to be true, and they fit me just like my other Timberlands have. If you are easy on your shoes and don't scuff them up too much, you can get away with wearing these with dress khakis without a problem. If you like the worn look, these look great with a pair of jeans too.

          These are great-looking, versatile, well-made boots, but my size 15s were very long in the toe, though they fit very comfortably in the heel and around the foot. I wear 15s regularly, but I ended up returning them and trying size 14s, which are snug (though by no means uncomfortable), and look a lot less clown-y. I think this long toe thing is a common issue with Timberland, though I think just for larger sizes.

          These boots are great, super comfortable, and great for almost all occasions. I got them a couple of days ago and I've worn them twice and both times I got compliments, so I know it's not just me who thinks they're great.
          There are a couple of problems that I don't find annoying but someone else might however. The sizes run about half a size too big, so if you wear a size 12 comfortably get the 11.5. Also they scuff really easily right out of the box. Just the laces rubbing against the leather will mark it visibly, and while this is not a big deal if you tend to take good care of your shoes, if you expect them to look great all the time without at least weekly maintenance (depending on how much you wear them) then you will be disappointed. If I were to do it again I would at least oil them as soon as I got them out of the box because the oil will protect them from most water and salt stains (which you get a lot of during the winter).
          All in all the negatives aren't very meaningful if you're aware of them going in. These shoes are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, they look great, and you can basically wear them with anything as long as it's not shorts or sweat pants.
