I've had my boots for three years now. I get them shined regularly and wear them constantly. They are broken in so they are the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. These shoes are a must for walking long distances such as in Philadelphia or New York. I wanted to purchase a good shoe to ease back pain... this was my ticket. Since I am a drummer, the 5" boot does not make it easy to play in, but, that is not what they are for. As mentioned before, the leather holds a wonderful shine and I am still complemented on the classic looks and great appearance. They are so comfortable that I put them on in the morning and only take them off to get ready for bed.

          These boots are so awesome looking and shiny. They are the only "boots" I've ever bought and they rock. The only reason for the 4 stars is that they like to rub on the back of my calf and irritation occurs. I had to buy some ankle savers to put on the back of them so they wouldn't destroy my legs; but, once those were on they rocked. Oh yea, also, they are not very waterproof. Their resistance works on snow, but not in a puddle. Like them though. Good boots.

          I bought this boot for its handsome looks, and low price. They do look very good with jeans, like another reviewer said, they look better with dark denim.
          I bought these in my normal size 12, and they fit well. They do not have very much in way of support and comfort however, and the heel feels a little high and hard, so they can be uncomfortable to wear for long lengths of time. I have in-soles that I put in to improve this, although I think I will need better ones. For me I think I need more arch support for these, because the ride is a bit jarring on both the heel and front of the foot. So as far as comfort, this is really the shoe's Achille's heel.
          I work at a home improvement store, and these have become my work shoe. The leather does not let any water inside, which is nice working in the nursery, and the soles have excellent grip. After walking through water, they seem to stick to dry pavement as though I had stepped in gum. Pretty cool. They are not steel-toe, but they do offer enough protection to where I feel safe kicking stuff around without any worries.
          All in all, I really like these boots, hopefully some arch supports help the comfort factor so I can continue wearing them.

          Firstly these come up really big so I should have ordered a size smaller. However, I can get a thick pair of socks into them! I wanted a pair of boots that would be comfotable to walk in and these are great. They are more like a tactical assault boot than a true motorcycle boot, so if you're looking for motorcycle protection and armour then these probably are not for you. If you want a really comfortable boot that needs little or no breaking in and wears like a sports hiking boot then these are fantastic. Can't see how they are going to be waterproof, haven't tried them but they have far too much stitching to look like they are going to keep out the wet.
If you lace them up tight you can't really get them on and off using the zip. But I'll sacrifice that for the comfort.

          I purchased these boots about 3 weeks ago. I was looking for slip-on boots that would look good with jeans, but also look good with work slacks in a business casual office environment. I went with these boots because I liked the look (plus they had size 14 available), and have had great experiences with Timberland in the past. I received these boots promptly (Amazon Prime is incredible as usual), and in excellent shape. These boots did not disappoint. I found that they needed little to no break-in time, and were very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. I felt the sizing to be true, and they fit me just like my other Timberlands have. If you are easy on your shoes and don't scuff them up too much, you can get away with wearing these with dress khakis without a problem. If you like the worn look, these look great with a pair of jeans too.

What is the shoe for men

It seems trivial to wonder because every day I put on a pair and we seem to know very well what we're talking about. Well then, go deeper. The shoe is a shoe that is worn on the foot, resume, and tracing the shape and proportions. They come in different models and types, but basically it is to be distinguished from classic boot because it fails to cover the entire ankle. In addition to beautifying our person and complete our outfit, the shoes are primarily a function: to cover the foot and protect it from direct contact with the ground and the ground on which we walk. Of course, on cold winter days, a good pair of shoes should allow the foot to keep warm while maintaining a certain temperature.

Components of a shoe
If we think of the constituent elements of any shoe, there are (or should venircene) in mind at least four: the first part called the sole, or one that goes to impact with the ground on which we walk. We can find it in rubber, plastic or leather (or leather).

We come then to the famous slab, or the inside of the shoe and cavity that acts as an intermediary between the upper and sole.

The term upper (not all know each other, identify and use), we mean the top of the shoe, in practice, one that plays directly into the foot.

Finally we come to define the heel. Usually almost any shoe, it has one (unless it is a shoe model really cleared): this is an upside to the sole subject, exactly at the level of the heel.

Maybe already knew technically the world of footwear (both men but also women's constituent parts are the same), but it really does not hurt to do a ripassino.           These are great-looking, versatile, well-made boots, but my size 15s were very long in the toe, though they fit very comfortably in the heel and around the foot. I wear 15s regularly, but I ended up returning them and trying size 14s, which are snug (though by no means uncomfortable), and look a lot less clown-y. I think this long toe thing is a common issue with Timberland, though I think just for larger sizes.

Extremely well-priced, this solid piece of footwear will suit most daily pursuits (unless you are a mountain climber or hiker!) and with a little cushioning, is very comfortable.           These boots are great, super comfortable, and great for almost all occasions. I got them a couple of days ago and I've worn them twice and both times I got compliments, so I know it's not just me who thinks they're great.
          There are a couple of problems that I don't find annoying but someone else might however. The sizes run about half a size too big, so if you wear a size 12 comfortably get the 11.5. Also they scuff really easily right out of the box. Just the laces rubbing against the leather will mark it visibly, and while this is not a big deal if you tend to take good care of your shoes, if you expect them to look great all the time without at least weekly maintenance (depending on how much you wear them) then you will be disappointed. If I were to do it again I would at least oil them as soon as I got them out of the box because the oil will protect them from most water and salt stains (which you get a lot of during the winter).
          All in all the negatives aren't very meaningful if you're aware of them going in. These shoes are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, they look great, and you can basically wear them with anything as long as it's not shorts or sweat pants.

          I have had 2 pair of this boots for about 4 years that is right 4 year they are amazing the soles are worn thin but are super comfortable. They look great and feel great my boot are beat up but they are the first thing that I garb to put on they are true to size and look good with jean or slacks. One the best shoe buys ever I love them! I am a big guy with a size 14 foot so I have to say that I was happy to find a dress boot that fit. The fit is prefect not to small are narrow and not to wide just right. I have walked and danced for hours in them they hold a nice shine when they are polished and are all most water proof. Great deal for great boot!
