          Love them so far. I have only had them a few days, but very comfortable. I wear an 11 and ordered an 11. They fit good to just be ordered. I might would try on a 10.5 in a store before I left with an 11, but I think it would be too small so I would order what you usually wear. Other than that they are great. I read one review that talked about the sole being separated from the insole, but I think that is just the way these shoes are made. I love them so far and will let you know if something goes wrong..

          I purchasd my first version of this boot in the late 1960's. It lasted forever. This version has a bit higher heel than I remember, but it is just as comfortable. The leather lining makes for an easy fit. For me there was no break in, when I first slipped it on it is like I'd worn the boots all my life.

          Wow! These are really nice. They are very cool looking with jeans. Great for those casual-cool Friday and Saturday nights out. I normally wear an 11.5 but I ordered a 12 and they fit perfect. I wish they were American made but they're still awesome.

          If you are looking at these boots, you probably did what I was doing....drooling! I bought the chocolate brown ones about two months ago after a lot of research and reading everything I could from current owners. Everything you read about these boots are right on the money. I do suggest getting your normal size....I just got lucky because my size is the smallest that they carried. I love these boots so much that on my amazon wish list is a pair of black ones. Hopefully my wife is paying attention!

Clothing and etiquette

As for man, must wear:

• For breakfast: plain complete with classically elegant, colorful shirt and walking shoes.
• A tea: Classic full, light shirt and black shoes.
• For a cocktail: dark suit, white shirt and black shoes.
• For lunch: a dark suit or tuxedo.
• On stage: a dark suit.
• the Opera: the tails first, in a tuxedo for all other evenings.
• For a wedding suit. If, however, the husband is tight and is a witness or a close relative will have to wear it too.

It 'also important to remember that:

• The white shirt is worn only after sunset. During the day the gentleman wearing the striped shirt, which can also be blue and white, clear or solid.
• Socks must always be the same color as the tie or the suit you wear.
• The shoe should always be with laces, loafers and boots are used on occasions of rustic clothes broken.
• The tails are used only in very formal events.

The attire of the women, however, provides:

• Pearls for the day and diamonds for the evening.
• Complete casual in neutral colors for the day
• For breakfast: dress or suit with accessories undemanding and almost no jewelry.
• To a tea: no low-cut dress plain with a few jewels, or a dark suit.
• For a meal important obligation of a long dark dress and jewels important.
• For Work: long dress from the night before and a great short dress Evening subsequent evenings.
• The coat goes on day and evening dresses short evening dresses for however long it is rather a long cape or fur
• The lady wears stockings, veiled, even in summer.
• It is the hat day for breakfast, tea and social events. No, in the evening for meals, and shows at the theater and film.
