I was replacing another brand of a similar shoe and this one seems well made. I almost returned the shoes because when I put them on they were too tight and my heel kept rubbing. What I discovered is that their was a neoprene insole. I took it out figuring just to wear them without the insole. Come to find out it is actually an optional insole you don't need. The inside of the shoe has another thinner insole. Once I took the insoles out, that fixed the problem. Now they are a little loose which is OK because it will allow me to wear
a thicker sock when it gets colder.

My only other gripe is these shoes are made in China. If I had known that I wouldn't have bought these.
