Full-grain leather upper in a high-cut casual hiking boot style with a full lace-up front. A padded collar and tongue, rear heel pull and overlay accents throughout. Water-resistant GORE-TEX(R) interior lining and removable leather-covered insole. Direct-injected, two-component PU outsole with a 1 inch platform midsole and a 2 inch heel.

I've been purchasing this particular boot for at least 15 years or better. Although ECCO has changed the style several times over the years, this one is the most durable of work boots. In working conditions where water is often involved, this shoe lasts at least 6 months up to a year when wearing it daily. Although this boot is priced higher than some, it has gortex which helps insulating in winter months, and is especially comfortable day after day. NO breaking in time required. Hope ECCO continues manufacturing this style for years to come!
